Arab League chief condemns renewed Iranian attacks on UAE and Jordan

Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy has strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks targeting both the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, firmly rejecting these actions as blatant violations of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries, as well as clear breaches of international law and the UN Charter. He stressed that any attack on the security or territory of an Arab state, under any pretext, is completely unacceptable.

Fahmy expressed the Arab League’s full solidarity with the UAE and Jordan, supporting all measures they take to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He emphasized that the security of the UAE and Jordan is an integral part of the collective Arab national security framework.

The Secretary-General also categorically rejected the justifications put forward by Iran to excuse its attacks on Arab countries and its threats to their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He called on Iran to respect the sovereignty of Arab states, stressing that maintaining regional security and stability requires adherence to international law, prioritizing dialogue and responsibility, and avoiding any actions that could escalate tensions or endanger the region and its peoples.
