Iran International has revealed details of a meeting between Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian.

According to the report, Khamenei agreed to meet Pezeshkian in a car after the president threatened to resign. The meeting took place at an undisclosed location.

The encounter was arranged following repeated requests from Pezeshkian and his threat to step down. He was informed that, unlike usual protocol, the meeting would not be held at the Supreme Leader’s official residence.
