Israeli forces stage incursion in Al-Ajraf village, northern Quneitra

Israeli forces entered Al-Ajraf village in northern Quneitra, Syria, on Saturday.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, a unit consisting of five Israeli military vehicles entered the village, set up a checkpoint on the road, searched passersby, and installed a large surveillance camera at one site before withdrawing from the area.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 disengagement agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raiding civilian homes, making arrests, bulldozing land, and firing shells.

Syria continues to demand the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, asserting that all Israeli measures are null and void with no legal effect under international law, and calls on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and press for Israel’s full withdrawal from southern Syria.
