International force in Gaza vital for stability, says peace council envoy

Nikolay Mladenov, the Peace Council's representative in Gaza, has emphasized that deploying an international force in the Gaza Strip is a crucial step toward stabilizing the region.

Mladenov explained that the presence of such a force would bolster disarmament efforts in Gaza and help enable an effective transitional Palestinian administration.

He noted that current efforts are focused on advancing a 20-point plan designed to achieve stability and support the transitional process in the territory.
