Spanish prime minister thanks Gazan girl for mural bearing his portrait

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has sent a message of thanks to a Palestinian girl named Layan after she gifted him a mural featuring his portrait in Gaza.

Sánchez expressed his gratitude to Layan and the artists involved in the initiative, praising what he described as a "beautiful gesture" that reflects warm feelings toward the Spanish people.

He noted that Palestinians have shown affection for Spain in recent times despite difficult circumstances, stressing that Spanish society hears them, sees their suffering, and holds them in high regard.
