Sudanese army receives 45 defectors from Rapid Support Forces

The Sudanese army announced that its forces have seized large quantities of military equipment in the Export Road area of Kordofan, western Sudan, as an initial result of ongoing military operations.

In a statement, the army said the seized items included 240 combat and armored vehicles, eight weapons depots, ten supply and medical warehouses, and thousands of barrels filled with fuel. The statement added that inventory and counting operations are still underway, and the total is expected to rise as field procedures continue.

According to media reports cited by Al Arabiya, the Sudanese army has received a new group of defectors from the Rapid Support Forces, comprising 45 fighters, including Othman Al-Nour, Younis Idris, and Ali Al-Zain.

The reports stated that the group, which broke away from the Rapid Support Forces, arrived from Bara city to the outskirts of Omdurman with all their military equipment.
