Israeli raids across West Bank leave Palestinians injured and detained

Israeli forces today launched a series of raids and arrests in various areas of the occupied West Bank, leading to confrontations and assaults that resulted in injuries among Palestinians.

The forces detained 12 people from different governorates, stormed Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem, and demolished homes in Bethlehem and Ba'neh in the 1948 territories.

A young man was shot by Israeli forces near the Dahiyah Gate in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. The Palestinian Red Crescent treated eight people who were assaulted during the raid on Qalandiya camp, transferring them to hospital.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolished three homes in Nahalin and the village of Al-Maniya, west and southeast of Bethlehem. In Ba'neh, in the Galilee area of the 1948 territories, Israeli bulldozers demolished a house at dawn, citing lack of a building permit.

In Jenin, Israeli forces issued demolition orders for two structures near the town of Jaba' south of the governorate. In Ramallah, they seized three homes in the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood after forcing residents to evacuate, turning them into military posts.

Cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem continue to witness daily raids and incursions by Israeli forces and settlers, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the use of live and rubber bullets as well as tear gas against Palestinians.
