Trump warns of larger strike against Iran after US attacks

US President Donald Trump has warned that a much larger attack awaits Iran, and if it occurs, little would remain of the country.

Trump, speaking after US military strikes on Iran, said the current raids being carried out against Iran are extensive and powerful.

He added that US forces have targeted Iranian sites in the Strait of Hormuz, and warned that if Iran responds to what he described as a highly justified attack, the US would retaliate again with even greater force.

US Central Command confirmed that the latest strikes follow a recent attempt by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

It added that US forces have begun targeting IRGC positions inside Iran, while Iranian media reported explosions in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, and several areas near the Strait of Hormuz.
