Germany summons Russian ambassador over drone attack on Ukrainian cargo plane in Leipzig

Germany has summoned the Russian ambassador following a drone attack that targeted a Ukrainian cargo plane at Leipzig Airport, after German Foreign Minister Johann Fadevoll held Moscow responsible for the incident.

The move comes as German authorities also announced plans to close the Russian consulate in Bonn, as well as the Russian cultural center in Berlin.
