Zelensky orders Ukrainian military to launch 1,000 drone strikes daily on Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that he has ordered the military to ramp up its long-range drone attacks on Russia to 1,000 strikes per day, up from around 300 currently.

In his nightly address, according to Reuters, Zelensky stated: "There must be more; there is a specific target, and we will accomplish this mission."

Separately, the Ukrainian president said the United States had provided Kyiv with information about several meetings held in Moscow in recent days.

Zelensky added, "Today we received information from the American side about meetings that took place in Moscow these days. A number of meetings were held there," without giving details about the participants.
