Iran summons UK ambassador over Fairford base attack allegations

Iran's foreign ministry has summoned the British ambassador in Tehran following accusations of Iranian involvement in the attack on Fairford airbase.

The ministry stated that the decision to summon the British ambassador was made in response to claims connecting Tehran to a plot targeting the Fairford base in the UK, according to Asharq.

The British prime minister had earlier confirmed that the security incident at Fairford Airbase, which is used by the United States in Britain, was directed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
