US offers $15 million reward to disrupt Iran’s Revolutionary Guard financial networks

The US State Department has announced a reward of up to $15 million for detailed information that leads to the disruption of financial mechanisms and networks linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The new Rewards for Justice initiative targets three senior leaders of the IRGC’s Aerospace Force, which is responsible for Iran’s missile, drone, and space development programs.

According to the State Department, the focus is on tracking illegal financial and commercial activities, specifically targeting transactions involving three top Aerospace Force commanders responsible for missile and drone development.

According to Al Arabiya, the targeted individuals are Abdullah Mehrabi, Jafar Abadi, and Ali Asghar Norouzi, in an effort to cut off Iran’s access to military equipment.

The State Department also outlined additional incentives, including special security arrangements, resettlement, and residency options to protect those who assist in disrupting Iranian funding.
