Yemeni resistance spokesman: Coordination ongoing with coalition, all options on table

Yemeni National Resistance spokesman Brigadier General Sadeq Dowaid said coordination is ongoing with the coalition and that forces are prepared for all options.

Speaking to Al Hadath TV, Dowaid added that international navigation is the responsibility of the global community, as supply chains serve all countries and the world must share this responsibility.

He continued, "We are fully prepared to coordinate with the coalition, while the Houthis repeatedly embark on reckless actions that have set Yemen back decades. However, this current adventure will be their last, as the Houthis have launched it without considering the consequences."

His remarks come as the Houthis threaten to target international shipping in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, coinciding with similar threats from Iran against navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Regional countries and the international community seek to address the risks facing maritime navigation and global supply chains to ensure the continued flow of gas, oil, and commercial goods.
