Russian drones strike Ukrainian ports and warships, defense ministry says

Russia's defense ministry announced that its armed forces continued drone airstrikes today on Ukrainian ports and military vessels belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces.

In a statement carried by Sputnik, the ministry said: "During the day, Russian armed forces continued targeting Ukrainian ports and military vessels with drones."

The statement added: "Russian forces targeted a dry cargo ship carrying military supplies at the Yuzhny port in the Odesa region, as well as a fuel and lubricants tanker for the Ukrainian army at Odesa port."
Earlier today, the ministry also reported details on the capture of two new towns in the Donetsk People's Republic, highlighting their strategic importance for completing the liberation of the republic from Kyiv's control.
