US military strike on Tehran closer than ever, analyst says

Political analyst Tarek Al-Shami said that a US military strike on Tehran is now closer than ever before.

Speaking to Al Arabiya FM, Al-Shami explained that military action has always been a consideration in US policy approaches, noting that the United States has demanded firm guarantees from Iran regarding its nuclear program and the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

The analyst added that recent remarks by US Senator JD Vance underscore the need for clear assurances from Iran on these American demands and for an agreement on explicit guarantees to prevent any incidents.
