Yemeni forces repel Houthi infiltration attempts in Marib province

Yemeni armed forces have thwarted two Houthi militia infiltration attempts on their western and southern fronts in Marib province.

The Houthi militia tried to infiltrate government positions from the Al-Falihah sector on the southern front, but artillery and drone strikes foiled the attempt, resulting in casualties among the militants.

The militia also attempted to advance in the Wadi Dhanna sector to recover bodies of their fighters left in the valley for three days, but Yemeni forces repelled the effort and destroyed their vehicles. On the western front, similar attempts to advance in the Al-Zur and Al-Mashjah sectors failed under Yemeni army artillery fire.

Government forces destroyed 15 Houthi military vehicles and inflicted dozens of casualties on the militia in Marib over the past hours.
