Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque amid tight security in Jerusalem

Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Monday, entering from the Moroccan Gate under heavy protection from Israeli security forces.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces provided security for the settlers and imposed strict military measures around the mosque, hindering the arrival of visitors and worshippers by checking their identification documents.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities banned three Palestinians from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for six months, as restrictions and Israeli actions continue in the holy city.

Demolition and land clearing in Hebron

In a separate development, Israeli forces carried out extensive demolition and land clearing operations in Khirbet Hamseh, west of Hebron in the West Bank, to pave the way for a new settler road in the area.
