The Muslim World League, in a statement issued by its General Secretariat, condemned the ongoing aggressive attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia and their repeated attempts to target civilians and residential areas with missiles and drones.

The League praised the effectiveness of Saudi air defenses in intercepting all such attacks.

The Secretary-General of the League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, stated that these treacherous assaults constitute a violation of religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms, and reveal a deliberate pattern by the militia to target civilians and civilian infrastructure.

On behalf of the League’s assemblies, bodies, global councils, and the Muslim peoples under its umbrella, Al-Issa reaffirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter aggressors and safeguard the security and safety of its citizens and residents.

He prayed for God to protect the Kingdom—its land, leadership, and people—from all harm and evil.
