Egypt condemns threats to Saudi Arabia's security

Egypt has strongly condemned threats targeting the security of Saudi Arabia, describing them as irresponsible escalations that could undermine regional security and stability, and jeopardize the safety of maritime navigation, international trade, and vital waterways. The statement called these actions a blatant violation of international law, the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, and relevant Security Council resolutions.

In a statement from its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and all Gulf Cooperation Council countries, expressing support for all measures taken to safeguard their security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Egypt also emphasized the importance of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions and respecting international law to help de-escalate tensions and maintain regional security and stability.
