White House urges Iran to sign deal, warns of consequences for refusal

The White House has stressed the importance of Iran committing to sign an agreement with the United States.

It added that Iran must sign the deal, knowing what will happen if it refuses, according to Al Arabiya.

An Iranian official confirmed ongoing discussions about returning to a memorandum of understanding within a set timeframe with Washington, but denied any talks about extending a ceasefire with the United States.

Mohammad Reza Naqdi, adviser to the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, said his country considers itself "victorious so far in the war against the United States," noting that Iran has gained experience in confronting the US over the past five months.
