Bushehr nuclear plant unit in Iran shut down for scheduled maintenance

Russia’s Rosatom announced on Tuesday the shutdown of the first power unit at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant to carry out scheduled maintenance.

Rosatom stated that the shutdown would begin on Tuesday, September 29, as part of the facility’s routine maintenance program.

The Bushehr nuclear plant is a joint project between Russia and Iran in the field of civilian nuclear energy.
