Yemen’s armed forces announced that they have conducted 257 precision strikes against Houthi militia positions, movements, and military assets, using fighter jets, drones, artillery, missiles, and rocket launchers.

In an official statement, the military said the operations targeted Sana’a, Midi, Baqim, and the fronts in Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and Lahj, with a particular focus on the Taiz front. The strikes aimed at command and control centers, troop gatherings and reinforcements, combat reserves, as well as weapons and ammunition depots, and military supply routes and vehicles.

According to the statement, initial field estimates indicate that the operations neutralized at least 700 Houthi fighters, destroyed strategic and high-value military targets, and eliminated 170 combat vehicles and equipment. The military said these actions have directly impacted the militia’s combat capabilities and limited their ability to continue attacks on civilians in their homes and villages.

The armed forces affirmed their ongoing commitment to protecting citizens and defending the nation’s security and sovereignty.
