Trump: US prepared for largest attack since WWII against Iran

US President Donald Trump said his country was prepared to launch "the largest attack since World War II" against Iran, noting that Iranian officials had requested talks with him.

Trump added in remarks to the press on Monday that Iran denies seeking negotiations with the United States, stressing that Tehran must never acquire a nuclear weapon.

He went on to say he preferred reaching an agreement with Iran, explaining that this was because he did not want to "kill people," as he put it.

Trump also told reporters: "We are talking with the Iranians, and we will see what happens," according to Al Arabiya.
