Iran will never give up enrichment rights, official tells Reuters

An Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran will never give up its right to uranium enrichment, but that the specifics of enrichment could be discussed at a later stage.

He added that no negotiations have taken place between Tehran and Washington regarding the nuclear program, stressing that the United States must first meet Iran's conditions before any talks on the nuclear issue can proceed.

He went on to say that the United States' ideas about Iran's nuclear program are at odds with Tehran's demands, and that comments made by JD Vance regarding Iran's nuclear program reflect only American positions and requests.
