Trump signals new developments on Iran, says US 'winning the war'

US President Donald Trump said new developments are expected regarding Iran, asserting that the war is going well and that the United States continues to achieve victory.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump added: "Something is going to happen with respect to Iran... and the war is going well." He also said, "America is hitting Iran hard and we continue to win."

In a separate context, Trump addressed the influx of migrants into the Spanish city of Ceuta, describing the situation as "horrific" and warning of the consequences if, as he put it, the wrong side comes to power in the United States.

Trump said: "It's horrific. Remember this image. This is what will happen to us in three years if the wrong side comes to power. If the Democrats take office, you will not live a good life."

Trump's remarks coincided with a cabinet meeting held Friday at the presidential retreat of Camp David, as he reportedly seeks a resolution to the conflict with Iran and aims to lower gasoline prices, which pose a threat to Republican prospects in the upcoming midterm elections scheduled for November.
