Houthis unable to confront Yemeni army militarily, says analyst

Political analyst Manaa Al-Matari said that Houthi militias are incapable of engaging in direct military confrontation, despite their attempts to project strength against the Yemeni armed forces.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Matari added that the Houthis were surprised by the unity of the armed forces’ fronts, which launched military operations in various sectors following a decision by the Presidential Leadership Council.

Al-Matari noted that these operations have forced the Houthis to reconsider their strategy, warning that any attempt to storm the city of Mocha could lead them into an ill-advised adventure.
