Yemeni authorities and political groups back armed forces against Houthis

Local authorities and political groups in Yemen have announced their support for the national leadership and armed forces in the fight to defend the country against Houthi militias.

According to the Yemeni News Agency, local authorities, military and security leaders, political and social groups, and tribal leaders in Amran province have affirmed their unified stance behind the national leadership and armed forces in this decisive national battle.

They also declared that all resources and capabilities of the province—including its people, men, and popular resistance—are at the disposal of the political and military leadership. They expressed full readiness to carry out their national duties and to join forces with the armed forces and security personnel until victory is achieved and the capital and all provinces are restored.
