Iran's Revolutionary Guard warns US: further attacks will reshape regional conflict

Iran's Revolutionary Guard has issued stern warnings to the United States, declaring that Iran has developed new weapons and is prepared to target previously unthreatened sites should it face any military attack.

These explicit threats come amid rising geopolitical tensions in the region, according to official military statements reported by Reuters, which noted that the conflict is far from over.

The Iranian military leadership affirmed its full readiness for a comprehensive and prolonged military confrontation with US forces if necessary.

Advanced military capabilities and a shift in the conflict's geography

Revolutionary Guard spokesperson Hossein Mohabbi stated that any renewed US aggression would prompt Tehran to overhaul its armaments and fundamentally alter the geography of the conflict, adding that all advanced US military technologies have lost their effectiveness against Iran's offensive and defensive capabilities.

The military spokesperson noted that US bases across the region have previously been targeted by missile strikes and drone attacks, resulting in their disruption, depletion of their defensive resources, and failure to protect their facilities.

No contacts with Washington and shaping the regional order

In the same context, the Revolutionary Guard denied any current or past official or unofficial contacts with Washington.

The Iranian military leadership asserted that Tehran, not the US administration, is now defining the contours of the new regional order.
