US envoy to UN: We will judge Hamas by its actions

The US representative to the UN Security Council said the United States will judge Hamas by its actions, not its statements.

He added that Washington will see whether Hamas will lay down its arms, noting that the group has previously used civilians as human shields, according to Al Arabiya.

The US envoy also stated that an international stabilization force in Gaza has been very important, and called on the international community to maintain pressure on Hamas.
