GCC condemns Iranian drone attack on UAE as dangerous escalation

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, strongly condemned the Iranian drone attack on the United Arab Emirates, describing it as a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of the UAE’s sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as a direct threat to the safety of citizens and residents.

In a statement issued today, the Secretary-General affirmed that GCC member states stand united with the UAE against any threats to its security, sovereignty, or territorial integrity. He stressed the urgent need for Iran to immediately halt such attacks and hostile actions, holding Tehran fully responsible for the consequences, which could undermine the security and stability of the region.
