Israeli finance minister: No interest in joining Iran conflict

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that Israel currently has no interest in being drawn into the ongoing military confrontation between the United States and Iran.

He added that the current situation, with a limited confrontation between Iran and the United States, is the right and best scenario for Israel, according to Al Arabiya.

Smotrich continued, saying Israel has no interest in pushing itself into this conflict, emphasizing that weakening the Iranian regime is the goal and that economic pressure is more effective in achieving this.

The minister's remarks clarify Israel's position on joining the US-Iran conflict, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to present his stance to US President Donald Trump during his upcoming visit to the United States.
