Kuwaiti military intercepts drone attacks following Iranian strike

Kuwait’s air defenses are responding to drone attacks launched by Iran.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti military said its air defense systems are intercepting hostile drones following the recent Iranian aggression.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army noted that any sounds of explosions heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting the attacks.

The military urged the public to follow all safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Separately, a British maritime agency reported that a tanker was hit by a projectile off the coast of Lima, Oman, causing damage to the engine room but with no injuries reported.
