Trump threatens criminal probes against Obama and Clinton if Congress pursues impeachment

US President Donald Trump has threatened to open criminal investigations against former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton if Congress moves to impeach him again.

Trump said he still has the "opportunity to destroy the reputation" of former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, as well as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In an interview with Newsmax, he added that he could have taken tough measures against Clinton and Obama in the past but chose not to do so.

Trump noted that he is unlikely to pursue such actions, but added, "I think that would change if they tried to impeach me again."
