Yemeni warplanes strike Houthi positions in southern Taiz

Yemeni warplanes carried out airstrikes on Houthi gatherings in Al-Mawasit district, south of Taiz.

According to Al Arabiya, citing military sources, clashes have escalated in the southern countryside of Taiz, Jabal Habashi, and other frontlines around the city.

Airstrikes also targeted Houthi forces in the mountain range overlooking Al-Wazi'iyah, west of Taiz, amid a noticeable retreat by the militias in the face of advancing Yemeni army troops.

The Yemeni army is focusing its operations on preventing Houthi militias from advancing toward strategic sites, while several Houthi fighters are reportedly retreating.
