Yemeni armed forces urge personnel in Houthi-held Taiz to reject militia summons

Yemen’s armed forces and security services have urged all their personnel in areas of Taiz province under Houthi control not to respond to the militia’s calls for registration and summons, warning them to avoid being lured into recruitment and mobilization efforts aimed at killing or besieging their fellow citizens.

According to an official statement, the Yemeni armed forces also called on all officers and personnel to contact their leadership to learn about the procedures and designated centers for regularizing their status and receiving their full salaries and entitlements in accordance with approved regulations.
