Fire breaks out at Russia’s Ilsky oil refinery after drone attack, officials say

Officials in Russia’s Krasnodar region reported a fire at the Ilsky oil refinery after debris from a drone fell on the facility, according to Asharq.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that two oil refineries in Russia had been targeted.

In a post on the social media platform X, Zelensky wrote that long-term sanctions imposed on Russia have once again contributed to reducing its oil revenues, which are used to fund the war and military operations against Ukraine.
