Syrian and Turkish foreign ministers discuss activating joint committee

Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Sheibani met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Damascus to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations, reactivate the joint higher committee between the two countries, and address a range of issues of mutual interest.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the two ministers reviewed the latest regional developments, stressed the importance of ongoing consultation and coordination, and affirmed support for efforts aimed at enhancing security and consolidating stability in the region.
