Yemeni parties condemn Houthi escalation as serving Iran's agenda

Yemen’s National Alliance of Political Parties and Political Components has condemned the Houthi militia’s military escalation and its targeting of civilians and the country’s resources.

The alliance said this escalation serves Iran’s agenda, reaffirming its full support for the Presidential Leadership Council and calling for vigilance and readiness for a decisive and comprehensive battle to end the coup and restore the state.

The Yemeni army announced it had carried out drone strikes targeting Houthi positions on several battlefronts in recent hours, reporting casualties among Houthi fighters.

The media center of the Yemeni Armed Forces said that drones operated by the Sixth Emergency Brigade conducted what it described as “special operations” against Houthi sites and personnel in the Maran front, northwest of Saada province.
