Qatar condemns Israeli defense minister's entry into Syria

Qatar has strongly condemned the unauthorized entry of Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz into Syrian territory, describing it as a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty, a serious breach of international law, and a grave threat to regional security.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to take urgent action to compel Israel to comply with international legitimacy, particularly the 1974 ceasefire agreement, and to halt its repeated attacks on Syrian territory to prevent further escalation and tension in the region.

The ministry reaffirmed Qatar's full support for Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and its solidarity with the Syrian people in their pursuit of security, stability, and prosperity.
