Qatar strongly condemns renewed Iranian attacks on Jordan and Kuwait

Qatar has strongly condemned the renewed attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the territories of both the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the State of Kuwait, describing them as a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries, as well as a clear breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.

In a statement posted on its official X account, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the continuation of these attacks represents a serious escalation that could complicate efforts to contain tensions and undermine political and diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.

The ministry stressed the urgent need for an immediate and complete halt to all military actions and attacks that threaten the region’s security and stability, urging restraint from any measures that could further escalate the situation, and calling for a genuine return to dialogue and negotiations, as well as adherence to understandings reached through diplomatic efforts.

The ministry also reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with both Jordan and Kuwait, and its support for all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty and security.
