Yemeni government forces announced they had carried out 982 strikes in the past 24 hours as part of Operation Fajr Al-Yemen, targeting Houthi reinforcements, positions, and gatherings, according to an official statement.

The forces said the operations were conducted using fighter jets, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers, targeting advanced command and control centers, field commanders, sniper positions, sources of fire, and supply routes.

According to the statement, the strikes resulted in the neutralization of 324 Houthi leaders and fighters, and the destruction or disabling of 108 vehicles, armored cars, and medium and heavy weapons.

In Taiz province, the forces reported ongoing clashes with the Houthis, saying they had repelled advances and regrouping attempts, and maintained their positions with air and artillery support.

The statement added that operations are continuing on the eastern fronts of the capital Sanaa, in the provinces of Al-Jawf, Marib, and Al-Bayda, as well as on the southern and southwestern fronts, where forces are targeting Houthi movements, fortifications, and military gatherings, alongside efforts to clear mines and explosive devices that they say pose a threat to civilians.
