Ballistic missile lands in Mokha as Houthis launch new attacks

Yemeni government forces have reported that a ballistic missile landed on Electricity Street in the city of Mokha.

They added that Houthi militias are launching new attacks on Mokha using missiles and drones, marking a fresh escalation on the ground.

Three Houthi fighters were killed and others, including field commanders, were wounded in drone strikes carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces. The strikes targeted militia gatherings and vehicles on the Maqbanah front, west of Taiz province.

According to the state news agency SPA, a military commander said the strikes were part of coordinated field operations between armed forces units. The first strike targeted a militia vehicle on Jabal Al-Zuhaib, destroying the vehicle and killing several militants, including Mohammed Al-Shalabi. His brother, Houthi commander Mahmoud Al-Shalabi, and field commander Burhan Al-Abdali, along with others from the Hammam Al-Tawair area, were wounded.
