The Atlantic: Trump may order strike on Iran before midterms

The Atlantic has reported that US President Donald Trump may order a strike on Iran before the congressional midterm elections.

The report added that Trump wants to demonstrate progress on Iran and gasoline prices ahead of the midterms.

The Pentagon is also reviewing possible options for striking Iran following a request from the White House.

This comes after negotiations between the United States and Iran became more complicated, as Iran has refused to accept any negotiation mechanism regarding its nuclear program.
