US military says it helped move over 660 million barrels of oil through Hormuz since May

The US military announced it has helped tankers transport more than 660 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz since early May.

US President Donald Trump also stated that Washington’s reliance on economic pressure against Iran does not mean its military options are limited.

Trump added that negotiations with Iran have become more complicated and reaching a deal is not easy, due to the killing of a significant number of senior officials in Tehran’s leadership.
