Yemen’s presidential council orders maximum military, intelligence alert

Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council has ordered military and intelligence readiness to remain at the highest level.

During a joint meeting with the government to discuss recent developments and integrated deterrence measures, the council called for intensified efforts to combat smuggling and to tighten control over land, sea, and air entry points, according to Al Hadath.

The meeting also reaffirmed the commitment to undermining the war economy and cutting off sources of funding and arms for the Houthi militia, while commending the Yemeni armed forces and security services for their successes against the Houthis and other groups.
