The Yemeni armed forces announced that they conducted 1,276 strikes targeting the military capabilities of Houthi militias in the past 24 hours as part of Operation 'Dawn of Yemen.' The military said around 382 Houthi leaders and fighters were neutralized, and 140 vehicles, armored cars, and heavy weapons were destroyed or disabled, in addition to the destruction of arms and ammunition depots.

In a statement, the armed forces said the operations targeted command and control centers, defensive positions, artillery sites, military reinforcements, transport and supply routes, as well as weapons and ammunition stores across various fronts and axes.

The operation also included strikes on Houthi capabilities deep behind the front lines, aiming to limit their ability to conduct combat operations, regroup forces, and send reinforcements to the front, according to the statement.

On the Taiz front, armed forces units, supported by popular resistance, launched surprise attacks on several axes with air support from fighter jets, which carried out focused strikes on what the military described as legitimate military targets.

The armed forces said these strikes helped suppress enemy fire, hinder reinforcements, and improve the tactical position of government forces on key hills and strategic locations.

Operations also extended to the fronts in Al-Jawf, Marib, and Al-Bayda, as well as southern and southwestern fronts, where armed forces units targeted Houthi movements, defensive positions, and supply lines.

The statement added that simultaneous operations across these fronts limited the Houthis’ ability to move reserves between axes or concentrate their forces in a single combat zone.

The Yemeni armed forces affirmed their commitment to continuing military operations as required by the situation on the ground, noting that the coordinated combat effort reflects a high level of readiness and initiative, aiming to maintain pressure on the Houthis, exhaust their combat capabilities, and achieve cumulative gains on the battlefield.

They stressed their adherence to international humanitarian law and said they are taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.
