The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its forces targeted two dry cargo ships transporting military equipment to the Ukrainian armed forces in the Black Sea, in addition to striking military assets at the port of Odesa.

In a statement carried by Russia's Sputnik news agency, the ministry said: "A dry cargo ship carrying military equipment for the Ukrainian armed forces was targeted in the Black Sea."
