King Salman Humanitarian Center launches program to aid Gaza farming families

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a joint executive program today at its headquarters in Riyadh with a civil society organization to implement a project supporting the most vulnerable farming families in the Gaza Strip. The initiative will benefit 300 individuals from 75 families.

The center stated that the program aims to assist the neediest agricultural families by rehabilitating 75,000 square meters of farmland in Gaza and enabling farmers to carry out their projects by providing irrigation networks.

The project also includes distributing seedlings and supplying essential agricultural inputs, as well as training beneficiaries in best agricultural practices. This is expected to strengthen families’ ability to produce crops and contribute to food security.

The center emphasized that this initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, delivered through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support the agricultural sector in Palestine. The program aims to empower farmers, promote sustainable agricultural development, and improve the living standards of beneficiary families.
