Three armed men killed in clashes with Iranian security forces in Saravan

Three armed men were killed on Monday during clashes with Iranian security and military forces in the Jihadabad area of Saravan county, located in Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.

The deputy governor of Sistan and Baluchestan said the incident occurred during a direct confrontation between security forces and an armed group, with security personnel managing to eliminate three members of the group.

In a related statement, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps ground forces confirmed the killing of three members of what it described as a "terrorist cell" during the security operation in Saravan.

The deputy governor added that the Revolutionary Guard will disclose further details about the security operation at a later time.
