Yemeni armed forces neutralize 471 Houthis, carry out 356 strikes in 24 hours

Operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces over the past 24 hours have resulted in the neutralization of 471 Houthi militants, either killed or wounded, as well as the destruction of several command and control centers, weapons depots, field artillery, and the disabling and destruction of numerous military vehicles and equipment.

In a press statement, Armed Forces spokesperson Colonel Majed Abdullah Al-Nazili said the military conducted 356 precision strikes against legitimate Houthi military targets across various fronts, utilizing a range of advanced weaponry.

Al-Nazili explained that the operations targeted Houthi reinforcements and military assets in the coastal front, Haradh, Al-Tuwal, Kitaf and Al-Buqa, Alab axis, Al-Jawf, Marib, Lahij, Taiz, and Al-Bayda.

In Taiz, the spokesperson noted that Houthi forces continued to use innocent civilians as human shields, having converted several educational facilities—including Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari and Hudhayfah Ibn Al-Yaman schools—into command centers, weapons depots, and advanced military supply warehouses.

He added that the militia forced local residents to send their children to study in these schools while they were occupied, in blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws and norms.

Colonel Majed Abdullah Al-Nazili affirmed that the armed forces will continue to monitor and target Houthi threats and reinforcements in accordance with international humanitarian law, as part of their legal responsibility to protect civilians and restore security and stability.
